Over the long weekend we had the chance to catch up with some old friends from Maryland. We met up in Vancouver. We had a weekend full of friends, food, and fun as we all reminisced on the "good old days!" First on the agenda, Voodoo doughnuts.

The wait in line was a little over an hour long, so while the hubbies waited, the girls took all the kids to play at a park.

Portland in February is NOT warm so the park didn't last long but we found heat back in the cars while the kids watched a movie.
Finally....DOUGHNUTS!

Next was the nickle arcade.I still am not sure who had more fun, the dads or the kids.
Then on to a different park,

and finally back to Vancouver. There we dropped the kids and hubbies off and headed back to Portland to hit up Ikea. After a really quick trip and a pizza run for the kids, we headed home where we found a bunch of sleeping Dads. With the night still young, a sitter came for the kids and the adults got to go out on the town where we ate a Tommy O's, a very yummy resturaunt, but it was followed by the best part of the night, Menchies! By the 2nd morning, we were all sleep deprived but managed to pack down some banana pancakes and sausage.

With stomachs full and wonderful memories made we all packed our bags and headed back home to reality.
