This past weekend we decided to follow our Maryland tradition and have an Easter Egg hunt/brunch. One would think that living in Texas, this would be a great opportunity to have an outdoor egg hunt with kids. Not even thinking that we would have to plan around bad weather, we proceeded to invite 12 families over to our house. We figured that the kids could go out and play while the adults mingled. Boy were we wrong. After a week of 80 degree weather, Saturday greeted us with high winds and temperatures in the 40's, but because of the winds it felt like it was in the 30's. Needless to say, we had about 20 kids roaming around the upstairs of our house in search of eggs. It was quite the experience, but we all had a blast.
