Kailey and Alyssa enjoying their new car!

We welcome in 2007 with much optimism and happiness. Things are going really well down here in Texas. So far we all are really enjoying our time down here, and are even hoping that we can stay down here semi-permanatly. We brought in the New Year with a bang. I think this was the first year since we had kids, that our whole family stayed up past 12:00. We had fun spending the night with friends, playing games, eating food, and lighting off fireworks. The kids did great, and our fear of keeping them up late, knowing that they would still most likely get up at their usual time was shot down when Kailey came strolling down stairs this morning at 11:00. It was the perfect ending for 2006 and perfect beginning for 2007.
