Well, we have now been initiated at the Lackland AFB emergency room. This morning on our way out the door to get to church, Alyssa fell climbing into the car and cracked the back of her head open. At first there was a lot of blood so we weren't sure how bad her injury was. Luckily for us the hospital was just down the road. After being checked out by several docs, Alyssa was given the okay to go home. We were glad to hear that all she was going to suffer was a huge goose egg on the back of her head and a headache. After a nap and lots of tlc, Alyssa is back to her spunky old self.
On a happier note, Alyssa has now started potty training. She has made it through her third day in underwear, and we have not had 1 accident. We are so proud of her, and are so excited to finally be done with diapers. After 4 1/2 years of changing diapers, both Chris and I have been anxiously awaiting this day.
Kailey is anxiously awaiting her first day of school. We will find out when that is tomorrow. Kailey has also been a great help with Alyssa and her potty training. She is always so concerned and helpful with her little sister. I love watching them play together, and think it is great how well they get along.
